What's On at APB Summit 2026: Day Two

If your notebook is already full from yesterday, you might want to grab a second one.

Doors open for day two of APB Summit 2026 at 7:30am, and it starts with one of the most remarkable stories on this year's lineup...

Ryan Tuckwood once slept on a friend's bathroom floor with 31 cents to his name. He went on to win backing on Shark Tank Australia, build SWISH Sales Coaching, and coach more than 31,500 professionals across 32 countries. In 2021 he was awarded Australia's Distinguished Talent Visa, and he's since joined Sir Richard Branson on Necker Island as a global entrepreneur delegate.

This morning he opens the day with The Sales Approach for People Who Don't Like Selling, built for every builder who finds selling uncomfortable. If the word "sales" makes you squirm, this is the session that changes your relationship with it.

Here's the rest of the day.

The Morning: AI and the Changing Australian Home

Varant Bomoushakian presents AI First Thinking. As APB's Head of Operations and the driving force behind its market-leading adoption of artificial intelligence, Varant has spent over 15 years innovating operations across multiple industries. He's known for breaking complex technology into practical strategies builders can implement the day they get back to the office, and this session is about the next evolution, moving from using AI tools to thinking AI first across your whole business.

Then, Bernard Salt takes the stage with Changing Houses. One of Australia's leading social commentators, Bernard spent 20 years as a partner at a global advisory firm before founding The Demographics Group. He's the author of six best-selling books, a long-time columnist for The Australian, a Member of the Order of Australia for his contribution to demography, and yes, the man who gave the world "smashed avocado". He'll unpack how social and demographic shifts are changing what Australians build, and what that means for your pipeline over the next decade. If you want to know who your clients will be in 2035 and what they'll be asking you to build, this is the hour that answers it.

The Afternoon: Presence, Design and Marketing That Pays

After lunch, international keynote speaker Miroslav Bardović presents The Power of Presence, on how to speak less and communicate more. Miroslav has worked with more than 20,000 people globally, spoken on stages like TEDx and Mindvalley, and trained over 1,200 speakers. For builders, the application is everywhere, from sales meetings and difficult client conversations through to leading your team on site.

Jenny Li then reveals Modern Home Design Trends and what homeowners will want next. Jenny is a senior manager at WGSN, the world's leading consumer trend forecasting company, and a consulting representative for James Hardie Australia. Her job is translating global trend data into locally relevant insights, which means this session is a preview of the briefs that will land on your desk in the next few years.

Emily Williams and Helena Tivey of Arrow Agency close out the speaker programme with The Foundations of Profitable Marketing for Builders. The co-founders specialise in lead generation and sales automation for building companies, and their session is a practical look at the systems that turn marketing spend into signed contracts rather than just clicks.

The Raffle Closes Today

The winner of two VIP tickets to APB Summit 2027 is drawn at the Summit wrap-up this afternoon.

If you've got raffle tickets that aren't stickered yet, the booths are open all day, and every completed ticket needs to be in the barrel at the APB stand before the draw. Each stickered ticket is a separate entry, so a couple of booth visits over the breaks could be the difference. And remember, there are bonus entries hidden around the event for those still paying attention on day two.

It's also your last chance to ask APB Brain that question you've been saving, grab an Executive Business Coach at the APB stand, and get your photo in front of the APB SUMMIT letters before they're packed away. Share the moment with #APBSummit2026.

The real work starts Monday, when you're back in the business with two days of notes and a decision about what to implement first. Today is where you choose what that will be.

Two days of this only comes around once a year. Make the last one count.
